FAQ

When you shop with us, we reserve a consultant and a fitting room exclusively for your 90-minute appointment. Please note that if you arrive without an appointment, we may not be able to provide these services. If you’re running late, please be aware that it will reduce your available appointment time. For delays exceeding 15 minutes, we will need to reschedule your appointment. You’re welcome to cancel or reschedule at any time if your plans change, and please note that there are no charges for our appointments.

We have a wide variety of dress sizes ranging from 0-30! All of our dresses are made to a standard size, meaning they may not always be the perfect fit even if it is the correct size. It is very common for a bride to need alterations on her dress. While we do not have in-house alterations, our stylists are trained to be able to answer simple alteration questions that may arise during a bridal appointment.

Our store carries dresses from as low as $500 to as high as $3,500. These prices do not include tax or any alterations that may need to be done on your wedding gown. Most brides typically tend to spend between $1,200 - $1,800 at our store, but of course this varies from dress to dress.

While we carry a wide variety of dresses, we do specialize in modest wedding gowns for all types of religious coverage. Many of our brides tend to be a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and want to get married in the LDS temple, so our wedding gowns are created and chosen with this in mind. Our dresses are made to work with LDS garments, and we have access to over 1,000 modest wedding dresses! We are not exclusive to just LDS brides, but welcome all denominations who are just searching for a modest wedding dress.

While it might be tempting to bring your entire bridal party to your appointment, we highly encourage you to consider whose opinions you value the most. When there are more people, there tends to be more opinions being said, which can create a stressful and overwhelming environment. This should be a fun and joyful experience, so we recommend bringing no more than 4 people.

Our viewing areas comfortably seat up to 4 guests plus the bride. If you feel that you cannot limit your group to 4 people, then we encourage you to book a weekday appointment (Mon, Tues, Thurs). Our Saturdays tend to be our busiest day and we cannot accommodate more than 4 people.

We also now offer private appointments, which can accommodate a larger group, as well as you get the whole showroom to yourself and your guests!

We know that price plays a large factor in which dress you choose. We want to be respectful of all budgets and we make sure to establish this at the beginning of your appointment. Our store carries dresses from as low as $500 to as high as $3,500.

We suggest determining a clear budget before shopping for your dress and sticking to this budget throughout your dress shopping experience. This allows you to only see dresses that you are comfortable paying for and limits any chance of you finding a dress that is outside of your price range. We would hate for you to fall in love with a dress that is outside of your comfortability of pay.

Our wedding gowns are priced accordingly, and if you feel as though you are not finding a dress that fits your needs, we suggest slowly opening up your budget to accommodate for higher priced dresses.

Our bridal stylists are trained to help you find and narrow down your wedding dress. Our goal is to help you find a dress that you will fall in love with and will want to wear on your special day! If you are planning on just getting an idea for your wedding dress, we suggest turning towards Pinterest or Instagram. That way, when you make a bridal appointment with us, you’ll already have a clear idea of what you want, and it makes the process smoother and less stressful!

For many brides, we suggest bringing the shoes you are planning on wearing on your wedding day, or bringing shoes that are a similar height. If you plan on wearing any type of shapewear or spanx with your dress, we also suggest you bring those as well. Many of our dresses come with the necessary structure and cups, but of course bring whatever makes you feel the most comfortable!

Many of the designers we work with take somewhere between 6-8 months to make a wedding dress. We suggest coming in for a bridal appointment 7-10 months before your wedding. This gives you the opportunity to choose from a larger variety of dresses as well as allows you ample time for any alterations you may need. Majority of brides do need alterations once their dress arrives in store, and these alterations can take anywhere from 4 weeks or more.

If you do not have 7-10 months, don’t worry! A large collection of our wedding dresses can be purchased off the floor. These dresses come with a free steam and detail to ensure that your dress is perfect and ready to go for your big day!

We typically do not recommend booking bridal appointments for the same time. This is because it can get overwhelming trying to manage your attention on your own bridal appointment as well as your sisters. Finding your wedding dress is a fun experience and we want to make sure everyone has their special moment with THE dress. If you’re wanting to share the experience together, we would recommend booking back to back appointments so that you can have your own moment as well as experiencing your sister’s moment as well.

We allot 90 minutes for a bridal appointment. Much of this process includes getting to know you, understanding what your vision for your dream dress is, and of course, trying on dresses! We are determined to help you find the perfect dress and we have found that 90 minutes is ample time to find and narrow down your favorites. If you feel as though you need more time, we can always get you booked for a second appointment to try on more dresses.

We do not have in-house alterations, but we do have a list of local seamstresses that we can refer you to! Each seamstress is their own business, meaning they have their own prices for certain alterations. Of course, the cost of alterations depends on what you are planning to do, but they can range from $400-$800. There will be alterations that will fall outside of that range, whether above or below.
