Modest Knee-Length Wedding Dress | Woodsy Inspiration
Wow, where has the summer gone!? I have planned to feature this wedding all summer and now, all of a sudden, it is almost fall. So before autumn is upon us, I'm so excited to feature this gorgeous woodsy inspiration shoot by Amy Cloud Photography! This Lumberjack-inspired shoot also features an amazing alternative bride wearing an adorable modest kneel-length wedding dress by LatterDayBride, the Dillinger!
Modest Knee-Length Wedding Dress | Woodsy Inspiration
I'll let Amy tell us a little about the inspiration behind this shoot, because, well, I can't say it any better!
Amy says "This has been one of my favorite shoots I’ve styled ever.. hands down. Like WAY down! I love styling wedding shoots and if for some reason photography didn’t work out for me, this would definitely be a second option I’d consider.
My inspiration for this shoot actually started with my handsome husband and his magnificent beard. Put him in a red flannel shirt and bam, idea made. I love the touches of red and black plaid I used throughout this shoot while not overdoing it. Just little touches in her shoes, bouquet ribbon, his tie, and of course the fabulous table napkins. The fireplace was also a HUGE must when I started the design. My husband helped me refurbish the old piece into something amazing and Rebecca with Magnolia Flower Company perfected it with the moss and placement of all the other major props I had brought along. I was in tears when I saw the finished product!
All the vendors I worked with on this project were super on point with what I was going for! I love giving them a few basics on what I want as far as look and mood and then letting them run wild. I cannot say enough about Rebecca. Her floral creations are out of this world. T’Ann and Ericka killed it on the makeup and hair and Barbie from Gateway Bridal and Prom always makes the best suggestions on dresses to tie the mood and feel of the shoot together. The cake that Sara Elizabeth created was more perfect than I could have imagined and tied everything up in this beautiful chic bow. Wood Chick’s fabulous wooden invites added the perfect little punch to give this shoot that authentic lumberjack feel. And I cannot forget Ciana and Ray. Not even a real couple but you’d never know. They were a match made in heaven in the fake bride and groom world! Thank you to everyone involved and for helping make my vision come to life! I love you guys!
Hopefully this lumber jack wedding shoot inspires all of you to think outside of the box when planning your own day and to create something authentic and all your own."
